Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. Who we are
LoopOnce (“we”, “our” or “us”) operates this website and the applications ComedyOnce, PrayerOnce, Cultronce. This policy explains how we handle personal information across all of them. For questions about it, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to privacy@looponce.com.
This website itself does not require an account and does not run advertising or third-party analytics.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address, used to create and sign in to your account
- Username and display name
- Profile picture and bio, if you add them
- Content you create in an app — posts, lists, reviews, votes, reflections and messages, depending on the app
- Anything you send us by email when you contact support
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: which screens you open and which actions you take, used to find bugs and understand what to improve
- Device and connection data: device type, operating system, browser and IP address
- Log data: timestamps and error reports
We do not collect precise location data. Where an app shows you places near you, that is derived from a coarse, city-level estimate of your IP address, and is not stored as a location history.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- Create your account and sign you in
- Provide the features of the app you are using
- Show your content to the people you chose to share it with
- Send you service messages, and notifications you have opted into
- Diagnose faults, prevent abuse and keep accounts secure
- Meet our legal obligations
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (running the Service), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, improving the product), your consent (for optional notifications and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
4. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use your content to target advertising at you.
5. Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who run parts of our infrastructure on our behalf — hosting, databases, transactional email and push notification delivery. They may only process the data to provide that service to us.
- Other users, but only the content and profile details you have chosen to make visible to them.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or where it is necessary to protect someone’s safety.
- A successor, if the business or an app is transferred to someone else — in which case we will tell you before your data is transferred.
LoopOnce apps share a single account system, so your identity details — email, username, display name, profile picture and bio — may be shared between LoopOnce apps to keep one profile consistent across them. The content you create in one app is not shared with another app without your action.
6. Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your profile, your content and your activity, except where we must keep specific records to comply with the law or to resolve a dispute. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
7. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, sessions are held in encrypted tokens, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but if a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, and ask for your data in a portable format. You can delete your account yourself from inside any app; for anything else, write to privacy@looponce.com. We answer within one month at the latest, and we do not charge for it.
If you are in the UK or the EEA and you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data-protection authority.
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses to protect it.
10. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, write to privacy@looponce.com and we will delete it.
11. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. The Cookie Policy explains which, and how to control them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, where the change materially affects you, tell you inside the app or by email.
